Need help with rims

hey everyone,
Im looking to upgrade the rims on my polo and lower it 30mm. Most likely im looking to get 17s. I was looking at MK5 golf GTi polished replica rims. Ive seen a few photos of polos with them on and they look sick. However does anyone have any advice on replica alloys. Are they reliable, do they screw up handling, etc?

i have a set of 17s on mine. theres nothing wrong with them however oviously u wont get the same quality as an oem pair. other then that they seem alright.
