Splitting 9n3 Headlights for joey mod

how do i do this?

i know there are 4 staples on the sides of the headlights and i have removed these however when i heat the headlight up it wont split

what do i do?

Are you heating between the clear plastic and the black housing? Also what are you using to heat it? Use a heatgun

i wrote a guide on this and you can see from the pics i had to do some damage to the black plastic, i used a hairdyer(good one) and i would of used a heatgun if possible. theres alot of glue in the gap, work the plastic lip away from th e clear stuff so that you get enough room to get a small screwdriver under the clear stuff and work your way around. do not listen to crap songs and make sure youve got a lot of tea.
ive heard of people putting their lights in an oven but when i tried, tiny tiny craks appeared, so i tried it this way. not sure if youve seen m y guide or not, but nit might help you. http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 43&t=47501
