hello people
i have a 16v engine from a mk2 golf sitting in my shed. its been bored out to 1.9 has a ported and polish head. been told its pushing out about 170bhp.
been thinking of what car to put it in? mk2 golf or a corrado or a mk3 polo! my question is will it fit in the polo? has anyone done it before?
look forward to hearing from you
cheers

Re: engine transplant
for the polo, it depends if its a short or long block engine. Shorts easily fit, longs are much harder to do in the polos due to the lack of space.
