I have a smashed driverside headlight and i am contemplating replcing it with Angel Eyes, are they as white/bright as the standard ones?
Also what is everyones opinion on this matter?

Re: FK angel eyes vs OEM
I personally don't like them. I think the only headlight a GTi should have, should be the standard xenon type.
I do however like the DEPO headlights. They're cool and look identical to the GTi ones.
At the end of the day though it's up to you.

I totally agree with Emma, GTI looks at its best with the OEM Xenon Headlights.
People will think your driving a GTI lookalike if you fit Angel Eyes.
In terms of brightness then it depends what bulbs you have at the end of the day.
I would get another OEM Xenon Headlight and upgrade the bulbs to the HID DS2's 6000K. They look awesome

Keep checking eBay for some GTi headlights - There was one on there the other day that went for £40 odd!! Cheap as chips!
Anywho, here's the link for the DEPO headlights - My other half bought them for his 6N not so long ago and they look very cool indeed!

Another vote here for the OEM lights. The 6000k bulbs are on the cards for me at some point in the future, either if I pull together some spare cash or one of my current bulbs goes *pop*
