removing rear lights!!

Post by VDUB-Polo »

Hi, im currently attempting to remove the rear lights on my polo 9n2. i've undone one bolt which has loosened the right of the light and i've also undone to electric connector. But there's one bolt left and its quite long, as i twist it it moves but wont undo.
Any suggestions???

To take the rear lights off the 9n3, you need to undo the wing nut inside the car, behind the carpet. Then, from outside the car, push the entire light assembly upwards. They can be pretty stiff, but just give it some force until the locator clips release. Don't use screwdrivers or anything as it'll completely destroy the paint. Pull it out and undo the wiring connector. The board with the bulbs on it is clipped to the lens housing.
