Drivers Window...

Post by Creedy »

Hey all,

Recently my drivers side window has stopped working totally.. originally a couple of weeks ago, i just thought it was frozen, as it worked no and then, but most times nothing atall.

Then the odd time, when i pressed down it would go crazy and go up and down randomly and then seal again.. Now there is nothing atall and the window is stuck up completely...?

Has anyone had this problem? Know what it is, how expensive etc please?

Thanks

There's a lot of problems with the electrin windows. What I suggest you do is take of the drivers door card and unplug the electrin buttons for the windows and leave for a bit then plug back in.

If this doesn't work then put your key in the door, not sure whether its drivers or passengers door, and turn it lock or unlock, forgot which way it is again and hold in that position for 10 seconds. This apparently resets the eletrics. This method works for me when my window doesnr go all the way up or all the way down when I press the switch fully.

Or you might need a new electric window motor, which is bloody expensive.
