fuel filter

evening all...

i decided to service my polo today so i went euro car parts got all the bits cheap as chips but i couldnt find where the fuel filter is on the car, can any one let me know where it is please? i was told by some one else that it might not have one so im pretty confused so any one that could shed some light on this that would be great

If memory serves me correctly it's on the drivers side, underneath the car by the fuel tank. And again, if memory is still working it has quick release type fastenings to make the job a little easier.
I'd go out and have a look at mine but the wife has justed nipped out in it.

its definatly where allsorts mentioned it i didnt change mine my dad did so i dnt no how hard/easy it is to do
