license plate lights problem

Post by polo_mad »

Just replaced oem yellowy bulbs to LED festoon bulbs. But.. the light doesn't spread over the number plate!! so annoying, there just beaming straight down. Has anyone experienced this? and solved it. Thanks.

ahhh that's bad! I have just ordered a pair of them. try turning the LEDs facing up and then they'll reflect down hopefully spreading the light

Just changed mine today and they seem alright

As said above.. On the clear plastic bit there is a thin strip of tape - Make sure u've installed it the correct way so the tape is nearest to your plate

Where did you get them from mate?,make sure they're wide angle LED's otherwise you can't expect them to illuminate the whole number plate.
