On further investigation into this, the electric window rollup is controlled by a trigger from the CL pump to the convenience system control unit, which is linked to the electric windows, and this tells them to go up.

It would be wise to remove the relay, and not use the rollup feature, as its not designed to work on this car im afraid. Just checked the rclick manual, and it definately wont work :(
Oh man, That really sucks!

The instructions I believe are possibly for a 6n after checking the wiring colouring. Grey/red is a 6n CL pump lock wire. This is before they started using convenience modules to control everything.

I accidentally had it installed the wrong way (pin 85 & 30) when i touched the door lock wire onto pin 30 it locked and windows rolled up, as it should. But when I unlocked and tried it again it did not want to lock but the indicator lights flashed to say it had locked. I don't know if this helps.

I've checked all fuses and they are all good :?

What does the 'bong' sound usually indicate?
