Bluetooth kits

Post by londonvw »

I would like to get a bluetooth phone kit, i see there are two offered by VW - one looks like a satnav and not sure I'm that keen on it.....the other looks like a little speaker that seems to fit in the headlining.

anyone got that one fitted at all? it is part number ZGB000060005A - priced at about 230 on the VW site, I am guessing that's unlikely to be a fitted price.

If you have got one can you let me know how it works and whether it is any good (and a piccy if you have one!)

Thanks!

I'd also be interested in one of these. I'm going to buy a little holder for my iPhone and was wondering if there was such a kit available.

Also, do holes and stuff need to be drilled to fit them? I don't really want to edit the main structure of the car in any way.

Why not just get a parrot kit? Really easy to fit/use, and it copies your phone book and everything. About half the price too, and the call quality is better than you'd think. You can conceal the screen pretty well if you don't mind taking a bit of time to get it right.

That said, the one that you give the part number for looks pretty OEM, haven't got a clue where/how it would be fitted though. Will watch this space with interest!
