Puzzled With Wet Boot :(

Hey guys,

Found another problem with my polo (R reg '97)

I'm dying to put my sub in my boot but when i came to doing it at the weekend, i found that underneath the boot lining its wet

I haven't found any holes or any signs or rust. I've felt around the lights and doesn't seem to be leaking in through there. The boot seal is fine.

Has anyone had a similar problem?

theres rubber bungs/plugs under the car, ie tht go into where the spare wheel goes
i was cleaning my whole car a while back, ie strip EVERYTHING out of it and noticed one if mine was loose and had a slit rusty bit on it, so could be something similar, and water could seep in...

just my two dollars if u wanna check tht to rule tht out

Its likely to be the rear lights - take them both off and check the seal is properly seated on the rear of the light. Happened on my brothers it looked fine, but in fact it wasnt on properly.
