VAG-COM Codes

Hi Guys. Before posting this, i have looked almost everywhere to try and find info on this, but have had no look. Anyways, bought myself the ross-tech VAG COM lead and software. Got it for a really good price of the bay. But i was just wondering if any of you guys have any knowledge on how to access the coding options to maybe add things? if thats possible. I have manged to activate the auto door locking and the bleep on locking and un-locking. I really wanna try and get auto headlights on opening the car, like the golfs. Any help would be great. cheers guys.

Just out of interest, what version vagcom lead did you get?

It was the Dual-K & CAN HEX USB cable. Does all the MK6 golfs, etc. Said its the latest one for all 2010 models. To enable the autolocking and bleeps, i found them in ' Module No.46 - Central Conv.'. Then just altered the units from 0 to 1.

Apart from with the main headlamps. If anybody does know how to do this then it would be an amazing mod and I'd love it done

Yeah thats pritty much what i mean. He mentions something about fitting a module to his car. I thought that activating something like this should be quite easy really. Your only telling the ecu to put power to your front headlamps at the same time it makes your inside lights come on. That cant surely be that hard, can it? haha. Does look cool though. Mate of mine has the new shape corsa, and you can activate things like this through the car stereo.
