Standard RCD200 conversion to RCA Preouts
Guys, since all 9n3s have them as standard stereo, is it possible to add a RCA Preout to run a amp+sup?????

Yes any headunits can have this done. I cannot remember the name of it... in-line something? most audio shops should have it. If this becomes too hard, new JVC double din, unit seems to have matching LED colour + bluetooth phone call + USB support + Ipod support etc. Seems ok.

I have the RCD200 rigged upto my sub and amp no probs mate. Just nip down to your local Halfrauds, in the audio section they have a little converter type lead. It has the red & white connection cables on one end, and about 5 single wires on the other end. Front left / Front Right / Rear Left / Rear Right / Earth. You just need to loop them around the right wires on your stereos output leads. I used them little blue clips / crimps from halfauds to connect the wires together. The adaptors about 6 or 7 quid if i remember rightly. Dead easy job to do, as the wires on the back of the headunit are labelled. Took me about 10 - 15 mins to do a neat job.

Lastly how is the sound quality since its only running off the speakers?
Thanks

It's alright to say its setup on a standard headunit. Its never gunna be as good as an aftermarket one. You just need to play around with bass and treble on the headunit. I just turned my treble right up, and bass to 0. Then just use the bass remote i have for my sub to alter it.
But its always going to be better than no sub. haha
