Coilovers or Springs and shocks... help??

Ive bought a MK3 polo coupe 1994, just need some advice on what the best option is to go with... springs and shocks or coilovers, i havent managed to find anywhere that is selling coilovers for this paritcular polo, but have heard that it is fairly expensive to go the coilover way, due to the suspension set-up..? i dont want to be spending loads if it can be helped.
So any input; brands, sites, companies, anything would help

mk3 coil overs are like rocking horse poop, if you do manage to find some for a full set you will pay through the roof. iirc the back ones arnt that much but tbh your better going with springs and shocks
