Am i very brave.....or very stupid?

Hi guys not been on here for a while, been a very busy bee.

Lets get to it...i want new wheels for the gti.

I have been quoted £2000 on the nose for a set of custom 3 piece split rims 17x7.5 5x100 et38 fully customised for my car in Porsche GT3 RS green centre with polished lips.

I have attached some pictures of a set he did for a guy in america on a standard white golf but you get the idea, mine will just be on a smaller scale.

What do you guys think?

Thats a lot of cash for a set of rims. At least the new Polo's seem to be coming out with the same PCD, so you have some resale hope.

If you're going to drop it on air-bags, it could look awesome, but if its not properly low, it would look lame.
