Well I’ve been on Uk-Polo’s for a longish time now and know a few members though the local VW scene in Kent. I have mainly spent my time just browsing in the background finding this site very informative and admiring the high standard of Polos found on here. In December 2008 I became the proud owner of an indigo blue polo as below.

The car is a polo 6n2 1.4 slow valve ( and I bought the car with just 38000 miles on. After buying the car I immediately wanted to modify it but due to the extortionate cost of insurance it stayed standard for the past year. In December 2009 after saving money for the past year I decided I wanted a faster car and went on the hunt for a Lupo GTI. But this was soon a dead end as the insurance company I found that would insure me on the Lupo GTI soon decided to put their rates up meaning that id be paying more for insurance than I was happy with.
So left with the money that id saved I decided this year I would make my polo into the car I always wanted.
At the moment it’s just a case of collecting parts so far I’ve got:
GTI front grills
Fog lights
Stubby Drivers Mirror
Shark fin aerial
GTI splitter
De-locked handles
Aero Wipers All round
Pioneer head unit from there reference range
Schmidt Modernlines
Wietec Hicon Gt's
As well as lots of little bits

Coilovers

The car is also off to the bodyshop on the 22nd of this mouth to have a tidy up and a few bits done. Once this is completed the modifications will be added and pictures will be shown.
Soooo things to purchase in the long term
Maybe a few ICE bits got my eye on some JL audio bits
Interior parts: Audi TT seats anyone? Hmmm or Mk3 leather
A high standard detail with my machine polisher is on the cards as well
Thanks for looking
Alex
