noticed recently iv been having some oil weaping from my oil breather which is situated under the dump valve
its clearly been doing it for some time, as the back of the block was all oily
so with the engine dropped and the block cleaned up fully, there is no oil leaks from anywhere at all except this breather going from the block to the forge TIP
i have cleaned the joint up and used a new super strong jubilee clamp on it to replace the s**t vw crimp/clamp effort, and some material tape to try and make the joint a better seal, touch wood, its ok so far, just seemed to be a very slack fit on to the forge TIP
anyone else having / had issues with this at all,
before i used the material tape, even with the jubilee clamp on only, it was still weaping oil, really pissing me off, i hate stuff not being right, now, touch wood, its ok, but ill keep an eye out
does anyone like forge etc, do an uprated version which i can buy and use instead, and i dont want an open breather, as it connects to 2 pipes not 1
i must also admit, with the joint strengthened its a hell of a lot harder boost kick now, almost like its been suffering boost loss because of this issue
