I cracked my bumper :( What are my options?

Hey guys. . .I was a complete retard last night. I was reversing out of my drive and checked left and right for cars. . .there were none so I reversed out. . .but there was a taxi dropping someone off just out of site in my rear view mirror on the other side of the road so he was in a REAL blind spot (and as you don't expect a car to be parked in the middle of the road (he hadn't pulled in to the lane off the road where you park) I hit him.

He got out (a local taxi guy who I've hired before) rubbed off some damage (though there was some scratches to his paint) but thankfully the complete legend said that I was fine to go and he wouldn't want to put me through any insurance things) BUT. . .there is a (small) crack in my bumper which was freshly waxed and stuff so I'm depressed.

Can you get these cracks repaired at a body workshop, and then filled and smoothed etc or if I wanted to fix it would I need an entire new rear bumper?

ive had worse than that fixed at a bodyshop just make sure you go to a good one

That's good to hear. . .there is actually a crack there like. .you can't really make it out in the photo but it's not just a dent or a scratch as it appears in the photo.

ya i had a leon and backed into a post and put a 5" hole in the rear bumper first body shop just wanted to fit a new bumper went to a better but knew they wernt the cheapest cost me 100 but well worth it a bump cost more than that
