Question regarding tyre/alloys upgrade

Hi guys,

I have the new POLO SEL 1.4 85PS on order, it has been manufactured and is currently waiting to be shipped to the UK.

My question is when my car arrives, should my dealer be able to upgrade my tires/alloys to the 17 inch Boavista ones. Currently my model comes shipped with the default 16inch tires.

After viewing various images of the 17 inch Boavista alloys, I have to say the car looks much more elegant and smarter with these.

You will be able to purchase a wheel/tyre package from the dealer, but it would not be at the upgrade price. It will be at the full retail price which will be much more expensive.

Best bet would be to look for some 2nd hand from someone that is upgrading to aftermarket wheels.

@garywatt - yeah, your right I should have done it before.

But anyway, I think it might not be worth going for the 17 inch Boavista alloys now, as it is going to cost alot now.

Those Syenit alloy wheels look pretty stylish, plus they are 16 inch so I won't have to change my tyres. They should go nicely with my nimbus grey body.

Your best option would be to buy aftermarket wheels. You could get a wheel/tyre package that would cost less than buying even the 16" VW wheels without tyres.
