Can I just add that you should keep the badge? Either chrome or black, but keep it. It needs a badge.

Nah, they do look cool though, but everyone is going to be putting them on their cars (just watch at shows this year, especially after that other mk3 at Inters had one, and the Wolfsburg edition crew all thad them aswell).. And can actually use mine. The roof box proved it's weight in gold at Inters, as I would have never of fitted everything that I took inside the car, and I plan on using my bike loads this summer, and when the misses buys a second bike rack I can take two bikes out easily!
