removing speedo/tacho hood

does anyone know how to do it or have done this? I am referring to the hood over the clocks like the one in the red circle in the image below

1 bolt holds it, in the rest are clips, just pull it out, be careful not to break them though

I removed that bold but even with some fairly tough pushing and pulling nothing came out tks for the reply mate

Remove the screw underneath, then put both hands on top and give it a firm push towards you. It will come off, but requires sometimes serious pulling to get it loose.

Make sure you do it straight though or youll break its mount.

ahh ok tks . I ll try it lightly and if it stays put I will leave it there cos knowing my luck I will surely break all the clips if I try harder!!
