Driver sides window not working!

Post by Josh_6n2_Polo »

Hello All, my drivers side electric window seems to have stopped working. I know the fuse hasn't gone as I've already cheked that out. However I need the drivers side regulator. Does anbody know where I can get hold of one from?

Cheers

Do you hear a click when you press the switch?

I hear a click but the window doesn't go up or down. What's it likely to be Alex?

If you hear the click, its getting power but the regulator isnt working. First, check the wiring that runs from the car to the door in the rubber bellows inbetween them. If all is well, it means you need a new regulator.

You can sometimes take the regulator out, regrease it, fix the window guides and itll work again if you are careful!

He's right

Check the wiring that runs from the car to the door in the rubber bellows inbetween them.

One of mine had broken and was playing up like yours, I think it was the black and white one
