My car currentley in in the workshop getting my coilovers and ats cup fitted. However the guy said he dropped the coilovers 2 inches and the tyre was rubbing and said it wouldnt be possible!
Help please?
Okay slight problem.
Re: Okay slight problem.
2 inches is 51mm, i woulda thought you would get rubbing around the 80mm mark.
Why don't you get them home and wind them down yourself?

What Size Tyre's have you got fitted now? I pressume if their rubbing with a 2inch drop they must have a pretty large tyre wall.
I recommend 195/45/R15 tyres or if you want a lot of stretch then either 175/45's or 165/45's.

Re: Okay slight problem.
how wide are the cups and are you using any spacers? mine scrubs with people at the back at standard height and is on 6.5" wheels with 20mm spacers on each end and in my case a little stretch would do the job, so yeah 175 0r 165 tire stretch could get you around the problem or else try and get the inner lip that are inside the arch smoothed out cos they use quite a lot of space!!
