hey guys i was wondering how much you have paid to get your bumpers smoothed i was quoted aroudn £100 - £200 for full job on each bumper so i was wondering what you guys would say about that

I paid £150 + VAT per bumper when I got mine done.
Anything between £100-200 is a decent price, anything over £200 per bumper is a little excessive.
Its better when they use a plastic welder rather than filler but it looks good which ever way they do it!

okay thanks well during my summer holidays form post 16 i shall be able to save up and afford it
it wont effect my insurance will it?

I guess if you declare them on the policy then Yes it might effect it but there really is no need to mention it.
it’s not as if you have fitted a Veilside bodykit, it’s just a slight bumper modification so I wouldn’t even tell them, I haven’t

thats cool i wasn't planning on telling them tbh
my insurance is high enough still need to tell them about my coilovers :S

Just tell them its "lowered" they always pressume its springs anyway, chances are the guy/gal on the phone wont have a clue what coilovers are

I live in worthing near to Brighton on the south coast
Need to find out how much all the bits and bobs would be, also postage and then I can let you know the price mate
