Problem, yey/nay?

Hello All, went to town this afternoon (Guilford). Parked up as you do lol. Some time later I go to start car and it won't go. As I turn the key I can hear a click noise as if it's misfiring. I try a minute later and it suddenly works. What could have this been. Could it just be one of the rare occurrences or something I might need to look into further.cheers
