Body pannels

Wrote my polo off.

What body panels fit a 6n that are off a 6n2?

some one told me the read bumper does.
does the bootlid fit?

Not many. The 6n2 has a completely different panel set, and the panels are galvanised (rust proofed)

The only parts that are similar are the doors, and thats it. Everything else was reworked for the 6n2.

The bootlid is too shallow and wont sit properly on the car.

What level of write off is it?

its a 3door and from behind the front door till the back bumper is smashed in, back axel is off, coilys ripped out etc.

bugger mate. Thats gotta be almost a Cat B - has it been assessed? That level of impact would surely lead to chassis twisting.

nope, just got it home on a truck to strip all the bits i added onto it.

annoying bit was my new wheels came this morning and my tyres came the morning after i crashed.

I would definately get it assessed before you start trying to repair it - it may be too far gone with that kinda crash :(

what wheels did you get?

im not repairing it, maybe getting a 6n tho. bbs rx2s, the non split ones.

so they are RX's then not rx2... lol

but gutting about ur car mate... any photos?

but also think of it this way if you have a 6n you can put seats and so on into it... :D

bbs rx211s. and i think am gonna get a 6n2 the same colour, swap the boots, change the coilys get my wheels on and change the grill and that will do since am skint!
