My polo 6n2 clutch

Hi any help would be great!!

Ive found that the clutch is not working correctly, and was told to look at the pedal box, it has a crack on the clutch pedal bracket, i thought that the clutch was on its way out but apparantly its a common fault, i was wondering if could still be recalled? as its "51" REG which has 105k on the clock, i was just wondering if anyone has had one done recently?

Way past the goodwill recall period - its gotta be under 8 years and have less than 60k miles for them to consider doing it under warranty now.

Its more than likely gonna be a paid job id say
