Re: My Polo 1.9Tdi PD130 6 Speed *OEM Cruise Control Fitted!!!*

Post by Shaheenem »

Thanks for the comments guys! Much appreciated.

So i finally managed to install my OEM cruise control. Got the kit from Kufatec in the USA. Cost was R1200 for the kit including shipping and then another R370 for customs.

So all in all R1570. Much, much cheaper than VW.

Had to remove the dashboard to get to the plug on the firewall. Got it coded this morning and it works like a bomb!!!

Thanks for the comments guys.

Pics of the centre console that Ruan did for me as well as the top dash cubby and Airvents...

I had it done in a Matte carbon. Still thinking if i should change it to gloss or not? What you guys think?

Looks good, how easy was it to remove the centre consol ? Is it held in by screws or does it just pull off?

I love it. Absolutely stunning. Is it real carbon? If not, where did you get the vinyl from? Absolutely stunning stuff.

Re: My Polo 1.9Tdi PD130 6 Speed *STO-Tuning REMAP DONE*

Post by Shaheenem »

Thanks guys!

Its a carbon foil. Was done by a friend of mine. Centre console is easy to take out. Just a couple of screws.

Headlights were done with a hat gun.

STO-Tuning remap done!!!! Full custom tune baby!! Car feels awesome!

Waiting for Viv's dyno to be up and running which should be this weekend so will update. Will be taking the car to KAR for a dyno as well. Read the details in the STO-Tuning section... http://www.vwclub.co.za/phpbb3/viewtopi ... 3&t=105463

can you add a bit more on how you took out the centre console and vents? the person who owned my car has managed to badly scratch a lot of it and yours looks like a very cool way of sorting it!

Very nice! Could you show me the link to the website (if there is one) for the silver trim and needles?

Thanks

I have the same car as you weird though because mine came with the cubby hole cover and the black b pillars and chrome dash rings as standard, must be slightly different spec from production line?, are you sure yours is a 130 sport??

My car is not a 130 sport. It is a 1.9Tdi sportline (SOUTH AFRICA). These cars over here come with the PD130 motor and 6 speed gearbox but lack a lot of features you guys (European countries) get.

Rings are from www.tachoringe.de and the needles i bought from the german polo forum.
