superpro engine mount

Post by Jeff GTi »

just went to awesome gti to price up the 70k version, they are doing a package price for it fitted so thought why not, got them to do it there and then, all i can say is WOW, awesome difference on my stage 2 gti, love it, tiny tiny bit more cabin vibration though this is only at idle and not present on driving, but i quite like this actually, its not a problem to live with, feels a bit more hardcore

on the move gearchanges are slick and defo improved over the old mount, awesome also daid they can speed up the idle speed through vagcom to make it feel better at idle should it be an issue, which its not

did a 2500 rpm launch and nearly snapped my neck, tiny bit of spin then sheer launch and no problems changing at near as damit 7k revs

quality mod for the money, recommend it to anyone

big thanks to alan at awesome for fitting it and al and andy for the info whilst there, top bunch

I had one fitted to my GTI about 4 months ago and it's a quality upgrade. I've done around 1,500 miles with it fitted now and I've either got use to the slight increase in vibration in the cabin or it has bedded in nicely and doesn't cause any additional vibrations.
