The Polo 1.4 I was lookign at has been sold. It had a 1.4 80PS engine. They have another 1.4 with a 75PS engine. Both are automatic transmission. Clearly the 80 PS is more powerful, but woudl it actually be noticeable I wonder?
Any advice appreciated.

The extra 5 would make next to no difference

Hey ccarmock,
An extra 5bhp would make no noticeable difference, it may be nice knowing you got an extra 5bhp but it won't improve your car dramatically. Simple things to get a few more bhp is like going for a performance panel filter element, K&N, Green, BMC etc. I feel sometimes they round up the figures like on a 55bhp car, else where they name it 60bhp. And a 65bhp will be 70bhp, but i read somewhere on this forum when cars come out the factory their bhp varies a tiny tad so you may be getting a bit more or hopefully not, a bit less than usual.
