what wheels?

Post by Josh_6n2_Polo »

I've now got my car lowered on coilovers (finally!!) and am stuck on the old ull 14 inch VW wheels. Obviously I want some new wheels just I don't know which ones. I don't really want to spend more than £500.

Maybe G60's, ats cups? and what size rim should i go for because i like 14 inch rims and you can get quite low down with it without it being stupidly low.

Hey dude, ive got a set of polo gti alloys for sale, they need a refurb but would leave you loads of cash to get them done and some new tyres. :)

those Calibers are 7.5" wide from the link I posted so I would go for 195 or 185 tires (with a gentle stretch) with a 45 or 50 profile. leave the spacers for last, first fit the new wheels with the desired tires and then if you see you have space where to fit spacers buy accordingly

go for banded G60 at least and not the ugly silver once :| :| ... spray them black. they are turning out to be quite a common sight ...

but than there are different opinions after all

for the banded steels prices...you are looking at around £320 to £360 ... FOR AN AWESOME SET OF WHEELS

I am not a fan of those wheels to say the truth ... they go best on mk3 escorts imo ... doesn't suit the polos

not quite sure on how it works and if they are G60s or not, or if you could supply your own wheels and they work on them. But I am quite sure that price is for the wheels only and no tires. You might give them a call and ask about the G60 thing
