Hi Guys
How do i....
connect my standard headunit to my ipad? what adaptor do i need and where does it go?
I do have a 6CD player and would like to keep that if possible.

Try an xcarlink ipod adaptor. It lets you keep your 6 CD changer but also have ipod connectivity. Really simple to fit as well.
It doesn't say that it is ipad compatible, but it's iphone 4 compatible so I would assume that it would be ok...

Mate as far as i know the iPad is not compatible. I tried to connect mine to my Alpine head unit after 3 hours of loading my music on to it for a message to appear reading "this is not compatible" ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.chris meardon wrote:Hi Guys

done some more research on this today and thhi is my findings.
It's not available yet.
Company's are working on something. (Thats good to know)
Not sure when anything will be out to the market.

I am going to experiment and see if i can work it out somehow to work with the bluetooth. would be cool to play music through ipad wirelessly
