Fitting passenger window

Well i had to smash my window today to get my keys i bloody locked in! :( Does anyone know how to fit a new window? i've removed the door card i thought it would reveal the workings but do i have to remove the galvanised plate also? ANY help would be appreciated thanks Guy

Hi mate

sorry to p*** on your bonfire but a little tip to getting key out of the car,

if you really really have to you should smash the rear quater as its much cheaper and safer than the front windows!

Oh and the AA break into youro car in 30 seconds for a call out fee

needed the keys there and then and how much is a call out charge? window is only £50. just fitting it haha. I Called RAC said there was no way to do it appart from smashing window. pretty gutted but its only £50

Yes youll have to remove the plate to access the window motor and lifter and the remaining broken glass
