English Installation for retro fit Kufatec Cruise Control?

Post by BennoGTi »

Hey dudes

I bought the Kufatec cruise control kit yesterday, only to dins out that the only installation instructions they supply on the website are in German

I have e-mailed them and they just said sorry thats all that is available, so now im ina bit of a pickle...

This is the kit:
http://www.kufatec.de/shop/product_info ... lo-9N.html

I have translated the German .pfd instructions to English, but the only translators I have discovered do word for word, meaning some bits don't make sense after translating into English

Any help is greatly appriciated

Many thanks

basically mate id say if youre technically minded the important bit you will need are what colour pins go where in which plug, and what you need to do to activate it using vcds afterwards.
stripping the dash... wheel off etc you shouldnt really need instructions for, if not then maybe use how-to's for taking off the wheel and other bits and piece them together,

sorry if im not much help mate, i just dont think its as difficult as the instructions may make it appear, leave plenty of time to do the job so you arent rushing, its more time consuming than difficult id say (i havent done it on a polo but i fitted it to my passat and plan to fit it to my missus' polo in future)

Yeah cheers dude, thats what i'm starting to think, maybe just look for seperate guides regarding removing the steering wheel ect and try to piece it together

My sister knows a German dude in work awell, as it happens so hopefully he will translate the German instructions into English, but keep the meaning behind the paragraphs :/

Any ideas on where to look for instructions on removing the steering wheel and/or storks for now?
