Prefer the originals myself to be honest.

I remember a thread in the 9N section where someone had fitted these and there were quite a few photos. Can't remember who it was though.

Yeah I have those rear lights on my polo and they look the T*TS.... They would only really work on a black polo, which is lucky for you as your polo is black! hahaha If you want some more pics of them please do ask. Thanks

Look good on a Black one, agree they don't suit other colours (well, mine is red, so no benefit for me).

Isn't blacked out rear lights illegal on the roads? Reason being, if you guys watch the Police Interceptors, i watched an episode where a guy had really blacked out rear lights and he got pulled over, if i remember correctly he used ladies tights to cover it so it looked tinted. I kept mine standard as the design inside the rear lights looks good. Go for Lamin-X gunsmoke tints to protect and tint your rear lights, cheaper and it offers protection. Try it out.

Well I was being followed by a policeman in his car the other day for about 10 minutes and he didn't bat an eyelid so I do believe they are legal as I was having to brake quite a few times which meant that he must have been able to see my brake lights and must have thought they were to a legal standard. Also I driven past countless stationed police cars on patrol and have never been pulled over for having illegal rear lights. Just thought you should know!
