Re: Think my turbo's gone bang
yes, a friend on mine did it on a fabia i think it was or was it a ibiza i dont remember now but it was a 100 like ours after head done it all up it was around the 170 mark but 150 160 is about right i believe
Re: Think my turbo's gone bang
Good stuff. I may have come across a set of pd150 injectors now so might get them just in case the mapper wants to use them.
Ive looked at AMD and P-Torque for getting the mapping done, anyone know any other companies?

Re: Think my turbo's gone bang
awesome gti will charge you just under 300 with rolling roads and a properly setup custom map they spend atleast a day or 2 testing mapps on the car to get the best one. plus theyre highly reputable
Re: Think my turbo's gone bang
I'll have a look at them but from memory they may be abit far up north. I live in London so ideally somewhere close.
Re: Think my turbo's gone bang
Little update on this:
Pd150 turbo is on
All the intercooler pipework looks like it will fit without any trouble
Need to put the inlet on with the tip etc
Book it in to be mapped and we're away.

Re: Think my turbo's gone bang
I recomened r tech I live in gillingham had mine mapped by Amd and it weren't a custom map. Got awsome to do it made 205 even tho it a hybrid turbo on mine with every Thing done. Now r tech are going to have a go in October
Re: Think my turbo's gone bang
A friend of mine has a diesel Leon running around 250bhp and has had his mapped by AMD in Essex. From what he has said the Essex and woking garages are leagues apart when it comes to their services.
I've spoken to unit18 automotive who seem to be quite knowlageable (sp) and looks like i could be heading down there this week.

Re: Think my turbo's gone bang
Just to follow up on this.... Went to unit18 on Thursday to get the car checked over, pd130 injectors fitted and then remapped and all went well
Had the egr mapped out as the exhaust housings differ from the different turbos. Should be in the region of 170-180bhp now. The difference in power was crazy, so much nicer to drive now it has a bit of power.
Just going to keep an eye on everything make sure it runs ok but so far so good

Re: Think my turbo's gone bang
coooool . if not done already do some exhaust work it will sound mental. a guy came up to me yesterday for the two years i have owned it he had thought it was a petrol hahahaha 90% of people think it is when im driving. it really does sound sweet
what sort of figures did the work cost you mite have it done myself if i keep it later on.

Re: Think my turbo's gone bang
To be honest, i just want it to look and sound standard. I was originally going to get it remapped but seeing as the turbo blew it was more sensible to upgrade to a better unit.
Turbo was £400, i would've had to buy a replacement anyway
Mapping £300
Injectors £200
Its also funning a pd160 intake with a panel filter so is a fair increase on power before.
