Dodgy interior light

Post by 5509433 »

Ive got a very annoying problem.

My interior light decides when it wants to be on and when not to.

Ive had the control panel down and looked at the connection, there seems to be a loose wire with in the connector..

Whats my options here? Where does that cabling lead to?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Any ideas of correction?

Other than replacing the cable.

thanks

There wont be a fault with the cable as such - they are made to a very high standard.

What kind of wiring problem are you having - where is the wobbly connector

The connection im having trouble with is on the back of the interior light.

I can connect it and it works fine. As soon as I go to the the sunroof control panel back on it turns off.

If i put pressure to the left side of the light, it will turn on. As soon as i let go it will turn off.

Hmm

I would look into getting a new interior light from a scrapyard or similar and trying that. I wouldnt think the problem is in the wiring ;)
