the box is fine one minute and bang the next mate lol, the fronts go in ok, the rears r a bit more troublesome but pretty straight forward, easiest option could be polo gti leathers, only problem is that it was an optional when new, so can b pretty hard 2 find

I wouldnt bother with the Pro Kit springs mate, they wont lower it enough in my opinion.
You should get the Eibach Sportline Springs really if you want it to look "lowered".

The Prokit springs will drop it about 20-25mm if your lucky and due to the Polo's sitting so high as standard it wont look like its been dropped at all.

well yeah i see were your coming from. want it to look lowered. just not to much so it grinds etc etc. do you have to change shocks if you go like you said about 45 - 50mm. ? or can you just use the orginal ones for now?

all in all just dont wanna get a lowering kit of say 50 mm and find the wheels rub etc etc and i cant get over speed bumps thats all.

thanks

The standard shocks will be able to cope with the Sportline springs no problem, its the 60mm spring kits that kill shocks.
As I mentioned in a previous post in reality it will only be dropped 35-40mm despite the claimed 50mm drop so you really have nothing to worry about.

They wont scrub on the arches and you shouldnt have any issues at all with clearance over speed bumps.

The original shocks will cope fine, although if you want to uprate them then its only going to make things better

Yeah the 195/45/R15 tyres will be spot on mate, the 195/50's are a little too big in all honesty.

I think you can get the pedals for GSF car parts dude, check out their website or give them a call.
VW sell them but their pretty expensive. http://www.gsfcarparts.com/
