Inurance 2

Post by poloboyben »

Right, passed my test last week and now need to get insured and get my car taxed. Have bought insurance off of tesco.co.uk --> £900, with my dad being the main driver and me as the named driver. This is because my dad owns and uses the car the most and I will just occasionally use it when i need it, until i want to be insured fully on the car.

I now need to declare my mods--> backbox, springs and alloys. Just wondered roughly how much the premium is going to go up?

Cheers

well done on passing! :!:
before you do these mods you must ask the insurance company due to the fact they may not insure you at all with these modifications, not just put the price up!

you realise that if you crash and the insurance company get an inkling that you use it most they wont pay out. so by putting mods on it you are making it look like your car. unless your dad is into mods that is.

just a thought....
