central locking pump locking failure

Post by red6n2 »

hi when i lock my car either with my rclick remote/key in the door or the switch on the door the central locking pump seems to draw air in for like 5 mins the problem ony started today. but if i open the car (wich i can only do once the pump stops drawing in air) its fine 4 seconds max... its rather annoying and i dont want it to stop working completely anyone know whats up with it ?

Sounds like you have an air leak mate. Listen for hissing from the doors
