Sidelight issues. HELP ME PLS?

Hello All.

Today I attempted to swith my old sidelights from the original chrome to a new set of black sidelights. All went fine I simply removed to old unit and assembled to new sidelights (i.e. bulbs, washers etc).

However I am finding it hard to put them back in securely. The clips are a doddle to slot in. But there is a little spring that doesn't seem to want to hook around to keep it together. Where does this spring go. Picture guide would help cheers?.

What are you referring to as side lights mate? Can you take a pic?

This is the 'inside' of the sidelight. You clip the white looking thing in place, but attatched to the actually light unit is this weird spring looking thing. I have no idea where it goes or clips onto or whatever. Any ideas?

that white clip is in upside down. take the mechanism out and put it so the black bit pokes out the top next to the top of the headlight. then lift it up by the black bit. slide the indicator in and when you push the black bit down from the top the bottom should slide through the the part of the spring that looks like a triangle.
