Shock Options with H&R Springs

Post by POLOZ »

Hi guys,

Only had the H&R springs in for 2 months and I think the front standard shocks are giving up :( Not suprised tho :P

Anyhow, I was wondering what shocks would you all recommend which would work best with the H&R springs and if possible please post a snap aswell :D

So far, looking through the venom motorsport website there seems to be quite a few.

I am not sure which one would suit the H&R springs as I dont want to lose the current ride height

Thanks

shocks and springs are designed together for road cars unless you go serious,

buy a good set of shocks and springs that come together and sell the H&R's

You can use Bilstein B8 shocks . they are specially designed for shorter springs.
And from what I've heard - Bilstein sells B8+hr springs in their b12 kit - so they should be a good match

Cheers guys for the advice :D My pockets arent deep and being a student have to keep the expense down
Even though havent had the springs that long I wont get much for the springs, so want to keep the springs and instead
get shocks which will last me a while till I decide to change to coillys :D

Venom motorsport sell quite a few shocks like the FK AK's, APEX and SPAX which are at the cheaper end of the market.

Anybody hear ever used the spax ones?
