LOST KEYS ??? OPTIONS ???!

say for instance i hgave lost my only set of keys with a working transponder in it... what the hell do i do ?????????

You're pretty stuffed tbf.

Youll have to contact your local VW dealer, where they can order you a new key cut correctly to your car using their records then get it coded by them. Expect to pay £100 ish for a new key (its cheaper to get two keys whilst you are at it as they arent expensive. its the coding that it)

is that 100 for a key with a coded transporter and can they do it all on the same day ?... i think it went in the trash as its nowhere to be seen ! and do you know how much it is for two ?

the keys are about 25 each and have to be ordered from germany coding takes 30 mins

hmmm well i have a spare key it just has no transponder in it think that can be done tomoz or will something have to be ordered ?

If theres no transponder youd have to order a new transponder from an external supplier such as hickleys

My advice is to call your local dealership and see what they can do for you

lol cheers mate... this is a pain in the ass, im self employd too i dont work i dont get paid and im gonna struggle getting to work without a car !

key now ordered now gotta wait and somehow get my car to vw when it arrives to get it coded, biggest ball ache... EVER !

wonder if my car has AA insurance.

had a spot of luck key arrived yesterday so i took a half day off work today got my mate to tow me with his land rover... scariest experiance in a while specially when the first rope snapped on a round about lol.... eventually got there and i forgot thaty he used to work there so they all had a chat and i got it coded for free :D. might bring him with me next time i order something else lol.

oh and got my car washed for free although as soon as i go to work later on a building site its going to get covered in cow sh:!:t and dust !
