Superchipped 16v 3dr Black 6n

Post by slflowfoon »

Well, went all the way to Reading to pick up this car last month which I received it like this:

Image

Along side the French rubbish! (my current car)
Image

Specs are:
BMC CDA Air Induction Kit
Some sort of 4-2-1 Stainless Steel Manifold
Lowered on Coilovers
Sprayed Black 16v Alloys
Badgeless Grill
Clear Indicators
and last of all the most important, the RSR Superchip!

The car was bought like this. Came with the usual common faults on a 6n which is passenger side window motor is gone.

Update: Superchipped 16v 3dr Black 6n

My next step was buying a radio blank and sticking a Fatlace sticker over it buy still have music without a radio

Image

The car has a few dinks and needs body work sorting out in some places so updates will be quite slow until all that gets sorted out.

Check this out, iPod wired up to the speakers but still no radio!

This is the first I've ever seen of this; Now to reveal how:

Wiring kit goes in under passenger seat.

And then the JBL GTO 4000 amp follows.

Ooo, what a tight fit it was!

Car is SORN for the moment as I'm just waiting for the Frenchie to die on me then insure the Polo, woop!

Future updates will consist of, in no particular order:
Sort out the body work!
Passenger window motor!
6n2 rear lights
Crystal clear side indicators
Pressed plates
Hids
Front speakers (Door & dash)
Strip rear and make false floor
Uprated brake disks
Uprated brake pads
Braided brake hose
Powerflex wishbone and rear beam bushes
Stainless steel exhaust
SOME NICE WHEELS FOR THE SUMMER!

Yep, not too sure what it pushes out atm but would be nice to get it on the rolling roads when its body work is all done.

I havent changed the speakers yet but looking at putting the JBL P6562 in the doors and the P462 in the dash.
I have the P6562 in my current car and they arent amped and they sound banging!
Cheapest I found was ebay. The P6562 might be out of stock everywhere atm tho...
