Polo Advert

Post by Verity »

Just wondered what you guys thought of the new Polo Advert?

Personally I really like it. Granted it doesnt seem to have anything to do with the polo, except for the shot on the end. but as soon as I hear the music I start watching and I cant take my eyes of the screen.
...tho its not quite as good as the singing dog advert back in 2008 (i think)

I thought by watching the making of the meaning of the Advert would be made obvious. all i really picked up was a load of info about Tango dancing lol

God I wish I could dance like that

I'm personally not a fan of the new Polo advert - all that leg waving doesn't do a single thing for me (or make me want to buy a Polo!). Not sure that watching oiled up dancers with their pants showing puts me in mind of owning a lovely car. What do I know though?

The other nice, I heard the music come on and actually paid attention....but only for the shot of the Polo at the end. Iwas rather disappointed, the colour of the car and background seemed to merge and didn't do anything for me.

The dancing is quite good and appreciate the skill involved in that, but as a VW advert I thought Clarkson and May did better

That ad really is awful! I've already bought a Polo, but if I hadn't I would have been put off by it.

The Polo is a solid, conservative, very sensible small car and the ad prostitutes these values...
