my step dad had a spline set and took the bolts off a treat, now the sensor is in place and working perfectly and my car is telling me that my boot is open but the bulb i have is awful its led but a cheap led from ebay, just wondered if anyone had anyone had put a decent led festoon in there ?
i may hook up some hidden day lights to brighten it up. sounds a bit chavy i know but they will be hidden and out of view and ONLY in the boot so i can see better lol.
ive been waiting for some leds i ordered off ultra leds for ages now so i will try them first but if its still too dull... out come the strip lighting

Re: boot interior light and dash light not working.
I was thinking about putting a good LED in there myself after our recent discussion about the interior light... I think i'll try it out once this snow clears. WIll get a couple of bulbs ordered and let you know how it goes with some before and after picsred6n2 wrote:my step dad had a spline set and took the bolts off a treat, now the sensor is in place and working perfectly and my car is telling me that my boot is open but the bulb i have is awful its led but a cheap led from ebay, just wondered if anyone had anyone had put a decent led festoon in there ?
