Dashboard removal ... or partly

right i need help ... need to know how hard / easy it is to get the TOP part of the dash off ?...

basicly planning to go to a scrapyard to find a polo and get the dash top part ...Hopefully and get it trimed...
any help
and by trimming i mean like so (but a different colour)



obviously its a mk5 golf style dash here but same kind of theme in my head...any help ?

Should register on vagcat as they have the online parts catalog and loads of diagrams like this. Albeit the diagrams are for a polo 9n but its pretty much the same car anyway just a different front end

top half of the dash only cost around 50 quid without an airbag anyway. try findin scrap yards or ebay
