9n to 9n3 rear cluster wiring adapters question

Post by chirag1988 »

hey guys, i've got a 9n and looking to fit the 9n3 lights, but just wanted to get some opinions if its ok to use non-oem parts for the 9n3 lights or original vw parts? seen a few on ebay and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on which are good or bad?

Hey chirag1988,

I'm pretty sure it fits as i have seen the 9N3 rear lights on the 9N. I was browsing through some pics on polo9n.info and i remember seeing a picture of a 9N3, well i thought it was until i saw pictures of the same car but the front was the 9N version, looked really cool and different to be honest. The overall shape of the thing fits but i'm never too sure about the wiring. But yeah it will look good on your car but there shouldn't be anything bad in this circumstance.

I've recently bought some headlights and fog lights that are not genuine vw and had no trouble. I have a 9n3 but prefer the 9n rear lights. if you're looking for a swap pm me.
