New user needs help.
Hi all, I have had a polo 6n2 for 2 1/2 years now, in the past 2/3 weeks I have had a very wet rear passager footwell. Today I was cleaning the car out and the footwell is still very wet, when you press down on it you are left with a bluish foam on your fingers so im wondering if there could be a problem with by screenwash tube to the back of the car. I have checked under the car and can not seen any holes.
I would be very greatful for any help.
Thanks

Re: New user needs help.
Sounds like the washer pipe has popped. its located behind the left parcel shelf support towards where the seat latches into place
These often pop off. To fix, you need to remove the trim and expose the pipe, pop the pipe back on and put a cable tie either side of the join to stop the pipe coming off again.

Re: New user needs help.
Hi, Thanks for the fast reply, today I removed the back seats and the carpet and found the foam under the carpet was soked right through, and also up the side of the seat, between the seat and the trim.
So tomorro I will have a go at fixing it.
Thanks once again.

I have no sun roof, and the car is a 3 door.
What I dont understand is now it turns into a white wet foam when you press down on it, and it is a really sweet smelling like screenwash.

Re: New user needs help.
Spent most of the day on the car, the washer pipe looked as it was about to pop, so joined that back together and used 3 cable ties to fix. The back trim beside where the back passenger sits was green on the back because of the wet so have cleaned that and now letting that dry.
Just waiting for all the carpets to dry now which are drying ok, the main problem how is the foam from under the carpet its very wet I have taken it out the car to try and dry.
Anyone have any ideas on how to dry it or can you get hold of them easily to buy a new one.
