Just bought some genuine fog lights and grilles for the polo, any body know where I can get a loom from or even a connector to the foglight I can wire it in myself, and it wont cost a fortune? (ie more than £20)
Here is some jargon printed on the connector/bulb holder CYLVANIA HB4 U 9006 , 22P 12V 53W, DOT L1207 USA
and the label on the fog light has 7H0 941 700C, 40/07, ST2, (R or L for the side), 271 247-02

Just looking for the connectors now, but I can't find them for a reasonable price. Anybody reckon that they will already be there? I know that I will have to fashion a switch for them, I know you can get a OEM one for £20ish, but I'm not that fussed. Anybody got some links for these cables or just the connectors?

Good things can be seen on eBay but you must need to look for the best genuine lights. And for the fog lights, they need to upgrade it if they are needed. Or probably, make some replacement for the bulb.

i am thinking of replaceing the bulb in the fog lights for bright whie, does anyone know what bulbs are they?
i have put 8000k HIDS in and fogs look poor, upgraded the number plate and need to upgrade the H1 bulbs when i flash

Ali123 I do apologise, been as though the topic is on fog lights, bulbs are included within the fog lights correct? and with regards to making a new thread seemed a bit pointless and naming it "fog light BULBS" don't you agree?

But when fog lights and fog light bulbs are one piece ( can't work fog lights without bulbs) I do not see the issue in asking a question within this thread named fog lights,

This thread is about the retrofitting of fog lights, not changing bulbs. Pretty different discussion topics IMO.
The link dood9n3 is pretty good, but as it's above your £20 budget it might be an idea to find a car with rear end damage on ebay or similar and try to remove the required wiring from it yourself. Alternatively, if you're confident in wiring, which it sounds like you are, you could have a go at making it yourself. Your local parts department should be able to find the connectors needed to plug into the fog lights, and for the additional cable/repair wires etc needed it shouldn't be too much. To be honest, I'd personally spend a bit more and get the complete loom and a new headlight switch. You might not be fussed but it adds resale value to your car and just looks better. Double win
And because I'm in a good mood, I did a search as well for the fog light bulb size. The bulb size/type appears to be 9006. I'm sure the user manual/dealership could confirm this...
